Default Targa top/roof wall mount for C6

I have a wall mount that holds the targa top for the C6 corvette coupe roof panel. The holder is powerdercoated black and mounts to the wall with 2 screws. It keeps your roof stored up off the floor and keeps it out of the back hatch area. This works with all c6 coupes from 2005-2012. I put my top on it twice, and it works good, but I don't really like my top off. These sell new for $70.00. I will ship this to your door for $55.00. SOLD!!

does the top hang from the handles and does the top touch the wall while hanging?

If memory serves me right, you turn your handles back to the "lock" position and hang your roof from the little "arms" on the holder. When you release your back latch on your roof, the little handle sticks out a little bit. I left that in the "unlatched" position, and that is the only thing that touches the wall. No paint, or weatherstripping will touch the wall. I had mine mounted a little high, so it was slightly tricky getting the top in the right position, but mounting it at a lower level would help. It is pretty sturdy, so there is no worry about breaking or bending it.

The "arms" are just metal when you buy it, but I put some adhesive foam on them to protect the handles from scratches. If you would buy this, I will give you some more foam so you can put more on if you would like.

No prob. If I don't sell it, It will make a nice coat hanger. Haha. It's pretty well protected with the foam, and its not really as bad as you think it might be.

Went to home depot, bought a scrap piece of 2x4 from their cut area for a $1. Bought 2 Tornado hooks (orange heavy duty rubber coated dual hook) from Walmart for $3 each. Cut 2x4 to 27". Drill 2x4 into studs in wall, I mounted hooks 21.5" inches apart ( u can test measure to make sure they line up with latches in closed position). Painted 2x4 with spare touch up paint to match my garage walls. Extremely sturdy and can hardly see it as it matches wall color. Send me an email if u want a pic. Took about 30 min start to finish. Had to wait for paint to dry before use.
