Default Corvette C6 Mild to Wild Exhaust On Demand Switch @ PFYC-PartsForYourCar

Corvette C6 Mild to Wild Exhaust On Demand Switch

Imagine having the ability to turn your Corvette C7, C6 Z06, Grand Sport, ZR1, and NPP exhaust from MILD (exhaust ports closed) to WILD (exhaust ports open) using your OEM Homelink (found on your visor) or via the supplied remote.
This revolutionary product lets you control your, 2006-Present Corvette Z06, ZR1, Grand Sport or NPP exhaust system on demand via a tiny wireless remote or the Homelink feature in your car . One of the coolest technologies on the new C6 Z06, ZR1, Grand Sport, and 2007+ NPP equiped Corvette is the “bi-mode” exhaust. Whisper quite up until 3500 RPM and then a wide open race car sound as the flaps located in the tips open. The problem is the inability to control this feature. Up until now, the owner’s only choice was to pull the fuse or to install wiring, drill a hole for a switch to turn the quiet mode off (and these sell for $85). After spending $75,000, the last thing I would want to do is start running wires and drilling holes.

This patent pending product requires no drilling or running wires through your car. It’s a simple 5 min simple plug and play installation that anyone can do. Once installed, you will have full control over the exhaust mode, via a simple ON/OFF remote wireless controller or your Homelink transmitter (simple programming required, instructions provided. Please be aware that not all Corvettes use Homelink, some use Car2U. You will need to use the remotes if your car is equiped with Car2U). Once the Homelink is programmed, you can just use that to work your exhaust. You also will get two sleek ON/OFF wireless controls that can be mounted anywhere and will control the exhaust up to 50’ away. The “OFF” mode gives you that race car sound 100% of the time. The “ON” mode works as the stock setting and is quiet to preset OEM 3,500 RPM so the system will work just like the stock system . The switch can be used anytime the car is running, allowing you to show your friends what a cool exhaust you have as you can use the remote and open and close the flaps on demand.

You will receive the professionally engineered plug and play wireless receiver, two miniature remotes (batteries included) and the necessary homelink programing instructions. Believe me you will be happy with the quality and fit of this Corvette exhaust controller. NOTE: this unit will work with either of the supplied remotes or the OEM visor mounted Homelink system. It will not work with other visor-mounted units. GM has been testing other visor units, so you may not have a Homelink system. If you have a visor unit with a single LED with the home symbol around it you have Homelink and this will work with the visor controls. If not, you will need to use the included remotes.

Is there a way to make this worth with a switch instead of the remote or mount the switch to a remote?

You can use a Homelink button to activate the mild to wild also.

I have one on my GS and really enjoy the option of less sound (me) or more sound (wife) - go figure!! A really easy install and works flawlessly. Bronk
