I have one from a 2010. It's the same unit for 2010-2013, but the VIN would need to be reprogrammed. Would take 150 shipped if your interested. Complete with EBCM and BPMV.

Used it in conjunction with a 2010 ECM to add launch control to my 2009 which I just traded in for a C7Z.

Interested for sure, just need to find out what it takes to reprogram the VIN first. I'll get back with you, thanks a ton!

A you replacing one that is defective, or using it for another purpose.

Any dealer can reflash the module, or anyone with a J2534 passthru and access to GM SPS which is what I used. Either way the module will also have to bled by a Tech2 or Tech2Win with a J2534 device.

Can the C6 EBCM be repaired like the C5s? I have a 2008 Vert with ABS/TC/AH notices.

I did find an AC Delco part #89060341 that looks to just be the EBCM component without the pump/valve assembly. I have not seen any threads or ads for repairing C6 modules. Any direction on this would be helpful. It is a very frustrating situation.

Thanks.

I spoke with Brent at ABSFixer and he stated that depending on the code some C6 EBCM can be repaired, unfortunately, my code C0040 cannot. He said it is a different type of sealed device.

He also stated that New or Used they have to be flashed to the vehicle vin. As for making the repair and then driving the car to the dealership to flash, it should be possible. You will have the codes until the programming is complete.

Makes sense, since I can drive it now with a bad part. It just needs the electrical connection. You cannot start the car without an EBCM connected like you could with the C5s.

I will update when I know more. Looking for the part now.

I replaced the EBCM on my 12 GS with a used one that had the same 3 digit code on the sticker. It did NOT require any reprogramming for the VIN. From what I've been told, as long as it has the same 3 digit code, you'll be fine without reprogramming. New EBCM's all need reprogrammed.
