LS9 Long Block 1200 miles
Selling my LS9 long block from my zr1 project. Previous owner of the vehicle totaled the car at 1200 miles, and I bought it from him.
Compression and leak down check out above average according to GM's specs.
Notes:
While the previous owner was removing the engine from the torque tube he managed to break the bell housing. I honestly don't know how he was able to accomplish such a task. Which in turn put a stress crack on the back side of the block bolts to the bell housing. I have had the engine looked over by many builders, and had the ear of the block welded. The crack was very thin, but I didn't want to leave anything to chance.
It will need a new throw out bearing
The crank pulley was damaged by the previous owner. I ordered an ATI. However, I'm still waiting for it.
