They are the regular eagle eyes, but they are professionally painted to be a darker red. The regular eagle eyes are far too bright IMO. I currently have Charcoal Lamin-X on these tails because I wanted to see how I would like the look before I committed to buying a set of black painted eagle eyes. The Lamin-X didn't come out perfect, but it might look better after a few days in the sun.
The only reason I am selling is because while these looked fantastic on my previous red C6, I am looking to get blackout tails on my JSB C6.

I will try to get some later today. There are some ripples in it. Lamin-X says it will go away in time after being in the sun. I'm not upcharging these at all for having Lamin-X so its a free add-on. Whoever buys them can take them off of course if they would like.
Check the following thread quote from ncvette_1FUNRIDE in the original post. I can try to get some pics if necessary, but it looks identical to his outer tails which are the JWM red in that pic (without film of course). They are SUPER bright when brakes are applied. It's great. You can see how much better the JWM red looks compared to the regular eagle eyes (center lights). The lights almost blend in with the rest of the light and doesn't look as good IMO.
The lights are still plenty bright even with the film.
NOTE: Only the pics from ncvette_1FUNRIDE in that post are the JWM red lights (outer lights). The other tail pictures in that original post are the regular red eagle eyes.
Just trying to determine how the lights shine through on your tint.
They still shine through real well. I thought it was going to reduce the output by quite a bit, but I was pleasantly surprised. I will try to get some pics through the tint later on today.
Here is a picture with the running lights. Let me know if this works for you. They are even brighter when the brakes are applied of course. I will try to get brake light pictures when I go home.
