I have an MGW shifter but its just the upper, doesn't come with the shifter box. yes the original shift know fits it. not convinced it fit the original shifter box correctly so i took it out. let me know if that's what you are looking for.

I recently bought the car and couldn't hit the gears, thought it was me. It actually took work to force the shifter into first and third. guy i bought it off gave me all the original parts, so i put the stock shifter back in, and now I can hit the gears. when I took out the MGW shifter it didn't sit well in place, so as I unscrewed the bracket it kinda sat high like it was forced into the yoke of the shifter box.

Hmmm, I never had an issue with mine. I had it on my C6 Z06. MGW, stock lower box, stock shift ****. As long as you take ur time to line everything up, it works flawlessly. I have one and can include the lower stock box if you want. $175 shipped
