I'm 20 miles south of Jacksonville, in Saint Augustine. Let me know how I can assist.

I was just in Jax last week....

I weighed them when they were new but I don't recall the numbers. I can't imagine they weigh less than your cup wheels... Are they GM Speedline?

Sorry, I meant Spyders. They're black reproduction Spyders. Took them off this winter and they're really heavy.

Ok. Yes, the Cup wheels are lighter that any other Z06 or ZR1 wheel. I believe they were developed for the 2012 & 2013 Z06 and ZR1 models as the "lightweight wheel" to be used with the new Michelin Sport Cup tires. Hence, the "Cup" wheel name. How much lighter??? Best looking wheel, regardless of the weight savings. I replaced the OE rotors and wheels on my Z06 with PerformanceAFX two-piece rotors and the Cup wheels; a significant difference in cornering feel and performance. I highly recommend the upgrade.

Here is a quote from a 2012 Road & Track article on the 2012 ZR1; "along with RUV Satin Black wheels—each 5 lb. lighter than the standard ZR1 wheel. They're 19- and 20-in. diameters, in the same big blocky size as the Z06's." I assume that your Spyder wheels are slightly heavier than the 'standard' ZR1 wheel. I hope that helps.

Default Tread?

On the tires, I read it as 60 and 80 percent worn meaning 40 and 20 percent remaining. Is that correct? I've been looking for a bolt on package with a lot of tire life left for my GS. Thanks

Yes, that is correct. All things considered, $1,000 for a set of Speedline Cup wheels, TPS and center caps is a good deal. The tires are a bonus. Let me know how I can help.

Yes, this helped me tremendously. Thank you.

By the way, I've been shopping these wheels lately and this is a great deal! If I was local I'd pick them up!

Small world, I used to live in Heathrow. I'm now just off I-95 at World Golf Village exit; about an hour and thirty minutes from you. A nice ride. I'll be available today and Sunday if you want them.

Thanks, Michael

Were these wheels an option on Grand Sports as well? Assuming the backspacing is all the same with any widebody?
