I'll be up there in the early spring to visit family. Their shop is just west of my folks. With luck, I'll set up an install while I'm there and bring the stock parts back in the trunk. I'll have to have the H pipe shipped.
yeah, i think the only problem you will run into is a ses light, other then that it should be ok.
My Melrose have been installed about 3 wks now. No probs until late last week when the CEL came on. Factory is sending new wiring harness...hope it works. If not, I guess I will need to get a tune.
Did you bother to see what codes were set that caused the CEL? If it's 0420 and 0430 then a wiring harness won't solve your problems. Those are codes caused by the cats being moved further back than factory and pretty normal with longtube headers.
Also, the Melrose headers are aluminized steel. Not badmouthing them, but I'd look into some stainless options if you are planning to keep the car awhile.

I'm running melrose LTs with random tech cats. It took about 3 months / 4,000 miles for my first 420 / 430 DTCs to show up. Now they happen regularly. The PCM only runs the 420/430 test after the engine is warm/other stuff AND, when the engine is back at idle after driving some distance. Tought test, clearly looking to see if the cats "stay lit" at idle. I suspect the cats don't light off as easy after some miles.
