Default Computer Tune?

I bought a 2006 Coupe w/ 6 speed. The temp. on this new car stabalizes @ 190 degress. The car is really fast and I am wondering ,do some cars come from the factory with the tuned more precise than others or does the factory flash a standard tune and call it quits.

They have the same tune, however, since each engine is different due to production tolorances, etc. some cars run a little better than others with that same identical factory tune thats installed in all cars.

Interesting I have been wondering this mysel. Mine from day 1 has stabilized at 208, wonder what the upper limit is and the ramifications of such? Was thinking you can buy LS2 from GM performance less control module so then just drop it in and use your original module and all is ok. For sure would not want dealerships out there trying to tune a replacement engine
