I just noticed you are in Davie....I'm in Cooper City.
Do you go up to tower shops or the Vette shows on Tuesday night at Hooters in Pines?
Thanks
Mike
I just moved to fort lauderdale just off SR 84 although I work in Sunrise. Haven't been to the shows although you are the first person that has brought it up. Hooters in Pines sounds like a place I need to go. What time do people start getting there? I'm still pretty new to the area
Lots of good observations here Bub.
Lets see if I can answer these questions for you...
a)No, this would require actually tuning the car to disable CAGS.
b)Yes, you can log and or scan any other supported vehicle while it is married to your Vette.
c)If you do not have OnStar, no need to remove any fuses. Just be sure that EVERYTHING is turned off in the car when tuning. The point here is to have nothing drawing voltage while the PCM and Predator are communicating.
Thanks
Mike
Question for Mike:
I don't mean to hijack this thread but I have just bought a Predator and was installing the Performance Tune. I thought I'd turned everything off but a quarter of the way through the uploading my stock tune, the Twilight Sentinel cut in and the headlights and interior lights came on.
The Predator said that the tune was uploaded successfully but I was wondering if this would corrupt my stock tune?

As long as it downloaded successfully and the car is running properly all is well. I had a similiar problem, I was outside when I was downloading and my headlights were on auto so during the download I noticed they were on and shut them off. No issues, however I would not make a habit of doing that. If you are that concearned just reflash it again.

The Hooters thing is always in full swing by the time I get there at like 8:00, I think it starts at like 5:00. Pines and University.

The stock tune will be fine, do not worry about it, but....make sure not to let that happen again as it *could* cause an issue during the writing process.

That's great news, thanks guys so much for the quick responses! It's a huge relief and I've totally learned my lesson, I'll always check the Sentinel before starting!
