Is there any way to make the A6 shift faster when using the paddles. That delay is a real pain. Does the HP Tuner or any tranny modifications help this situaiton.
What can we do to improved shifts? My 06 Mustang has some tire burning shifts with SCT programming. Surely this tranny can be programmed to do the same. I feel like I'm losing a tenth on each shift.
If you get your Phd in Mathematics and a 2nd one in Physics you will probably be able to tune the A6 clutch-clutch shifting mechanism. It's extremely time and pressure sensitive. Move something the wrong way and you have a pile of crap not a trans. Even the GM guys hate tuning this thing (and they do have Phd's...).
It's that intense according to Chris at HP Tuners. Shift "pressures" won't be coming anytime soon. Just altering your shift speed vs gear selection vs Normal, Performance (S mode), and TUTD mode will keep you busy enough.
