Default cooling fan re program

Does anyone know if the coolant temp and oil temp are tied together as far as fan activation is concerened. My fan will follow the program till the oil temp reaches its normal range of 200 to 210, then the fan runs continuously even though the coolant temp has dropped well below its programed temp. Thanks in advance . [ I am using my predator for programming ]

Fan operation is tied to the engine coolant temp. (ECT). De-activiation temps are a few degrees lower than activation temps.
