Hello Forum, I BOUGHT A USED PREDATOR TUNER. Haven't attempted to use it as of now.
Question #1. is there any special precautions/tips I should take before installing the stock tune. Updates maybe?
Question #2 My C6 is a 2005 (6spd,1sb). I have read almost every thread in the "tune" section and I'm really not clear on something. When I install this into my 05, will I loose my TC and AH?? Or is it really "reduced" like Mike states in past posts.
Don't know why the other poster said that especially since there's no special tune for the A6 either. The important thing for DIY's is the air/fuel/spark.
#1. Check their website for the latest update, it's free and will save you another step later (you'll need the PC cable for that). When you're ready to tune, open the window, close the doors and turn off EVERYTHING. You don't want any hiccup while you're tuning and it goes pretty quickly.
#2. Not sure about any issues with the 05 TC or AH, I have the u7194 for my 07. I have no problems activating either. You MAY be confusing TC (traction control) and AH (active handling) for TM (torque management). TC and AH are needed even more when you reduce TM because you'll be sideways more often.

I ordered the diablo, then changed my mind and went with the procharger with in a week. My change of heart was to late to cancel and I am not willing to pay the outrageous restocking fee. It is unopened in the box. Anyone interested. 299.00 and I will pay shipping. PM if interested. Happy Holidays to all...God bless out Troops..
