Reflash Problems
Hi i went and bought a predator and it wouldnt work so i read where i needed to get the latest GM flash and the place i went had the TECH 2 and tried to load the latest flash in we tried for 2 hours and everytime it would fail. Does anybody have any idea why? I returned the predator and had him do a EFI Live tune until i buy HP Tuners. For some reason the efi live tune almost feels slower than what it was before. Can i just take it to the dealer and have them put the latest flash in my car or do i have to take it back and get the efi live tune removed. Im over 36,000 so im not worried about warranty. Any idea will be greatly appreciated. This was all on a 05 Coupe Auto

Yes. If you take your car to the dealer they will flash your car with the latest stock files. EFILive doesn't automatically lock your ECM but, if it was it will need to be unlocked first.
One reason the Predator may not have worked is if it had a newer OS file than your cars ECM had. Most calibration software will require matching OS to reflash an ECM.
