I flashed mine, set the injector slope per montess's recommendations on the diablo forum and i find the car runs significantly better NOT adjusting the slope (although my trims @ 2200rpm are about +8%)

what kind of experiences are you other guys having? seems to me the diablo LS3 tune "isn't finished"

note: my car is a non-z51 base, no npp and bone stock

I put in the DIABLO TUNE the other day and I notice ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE in my 08 z51 coupe. It's stock z51,mz6,npp.Should I get in there an change something? Very surprising since in my 05 I noticed an immediate bump in percieved power.

When you say your 08 runs better not adjusting the slope do you mean in terms of engine responsiveness or WOT?

he got some additional stuff tweaked via a custom tune, then we adjusted his slope, and as he said, we're still tweaking some other stuff...

The question is not so much what to adjust, it's more how much to adjust. What you should do is install the tune and do some data logs, preferably on a laptop computer (longer logging times). Once the logs are complete you can then tell what to adjust and how much. After the adjustments, you do some more logs to see if anything else needs to be adjusted.

On diablosports website in the downloads section, there are some tools to analyze the logs and even 'how to's' to help you create logs. All this information combined helps you improve on the 'canned' tune that diablosport worked on. You have to remember, they created a tune for EVERY LS3 out there, there are many differences between engines and the conditions under which they operate on.

I think about the only way to make it less time consuming is to spread the logging over a week or two, the time spent may be the say but you'll 'feel' like your spending less time. As far as actual time spent goes, it's pretty much a necessity for accurate results; I agree, it does take a long time, but I think the results are worth the effort.

your car is stock with no mods so what's the point of having a Predator if you have to adjust it? may as well just have it tuned at a shop and be done with it.
