Predator Experts please step inside.
and I believe that is true and what is to be expected. However I don't feel that mine is doing this. Here is the short reason why....I used the real time data function and logged a wot pass which included 1-2 shift, 2-3 shift, and 3-4 shift. The parameters I monitored were spark advance, engine speed, AFR, torque management spark retard, knock retard and total knock spark retard. At EVERY shift the value for the torque management spark retard spiked and the timing dropped from 27 degrees to negative 12
of course, after the shift is complete, the timing returns to "normal" untill the next shift. This tells me that TM has not been turned off or even reduced.
I am not showing any knock retard at all and the total knock retard spiked at launch but stayed at zereo for the rest of the pass. Are my deductions wrong? this is new to me but I do have plenty of general automotive experience and it seems like things just aren't adding up. What do ya'll think?
