Diff. bet. 08 and 09 ECM software?

Default Diff. bet. 08 and 09 ECM software?

I am curious, my 08 coupe had an ECM software update, is this the same as the current 09"s? I did not feel any difference in power, but I was wondering if it changed the fuel management?

The knock sensor parameters have been modified for the '09.

The '09 has all the same tables BUT some of them have been expanded on (more rows in most cases for some of the tables). Fuel management was one of them along with the knock sensors. Also a lot of differences in the Trans. tables (most of the resizing of tables was there). It does not add any horsepower at all, mostly just fixes to issues they encountered from the '08, especially with the knock sensor sensitivity.

Can't really tell you how much the '08 update matches up with the '09 though. If you can post an HP tune file of your car I would love to see how similar they are if at all.

Thanks for the response, but I do not have an HP tune file of my car. Maybe someone out there does and we can compare?

I'd be curious to know also. However, I'd be willing to bet they are not the same (basing this solely on the fact of how different the '09 VCM's are compared to the '08s.)
