Default Tech 1 Info Needed

Hi, I'm Brett from Australia, I'm trying to get information about the Tech 1. I drive a Holden Commodore (1995) VS. Holden is owned by GM, over here its called GMH. Anyway I just got a Tech 1A from the USA and just wanted to know about the OBDII ALDL connectors that use OBDI protocol. I think Corvettes from 1995 or thereabouts used this type of setup. 1995 Commodores use this setup, it has a 16 pin OBDII connector. But as I said is OBDI. What connectors and adaptors do I need to connect the Tech 1A to it.
Also I want to find out about the cartridges, I got 10 or more cartridges with the Tech 1A and where it asks for a VIN number to be entered, (4th or 8th digit), etc, where all the choices are for what number or letter, Our 4th or 8th digit in the VIN number is not in the options. Mine is 95 model, my 4th VIN digit is (V) and my 8th digit is (9), it comes up with engine sizes and cars that are obviously American.
The commodore is a fuel injected 3.8 litre V6. L36 Naturally Aspirated engine derived from a US Buick. With a 4L60E auto transmission.
Can a GM Holden dealer over here in Australia reprogramme my mass storage cartridge to suit over here or can I get it off the internet somewhere. Also if someone is interested in selling a spare mass
storage cartridge. I wouldnt mind the chance to buy it. Any help or input on this matter is greatly appreciated. Thankyou Kindly. Brett.
