Default Stock Ignition Timing?

What is the timing on a stock c6 LS3?
Have a predator and the diablo tune added to much timing.
Need to pull some timing out.
Im getting some KR as high as 9.xx.
For predator users, under the datalog does the knock retard perameter show it in degrees or percentage?
My predator is set up in the tune section shows to adjust in % to add or pull timing out (Spark Calibration).
So if it shows on the KR datalog 9.
Is it 9 degrees?
Or 9%?
Thanks.

I think the Predators show K/R in degrees, not 100%.

Here a screen shot of the timing table from a LS3.

Your ignition system is the part of your vehicle/engine that fires, or ignites, the compressed fuel and air mixture within your engine. The system combines a primary voltage delivery to the ignition coil and electronic control units and secondary voltage released from the coil travels through the distributor, out through the plug wires, to the spark plugs where it jumps the gap and ignites the mixture.

Yes I know the basic theory of an ignition system.
I needed to know the timing to help me on my KR issues.
My question was actually answered by Ian.
I appreciate your response though.
Corvettes have DIS (Distributor less Ignition System)
Your post stated distributor.
Thanks

Did you get everything sorted out with the tuning?

Take a look at your Max KR table and see if there were changes made there.

Other times, it is caused because of a mechanical fix that required removal of the ignition assembly and it is left unadjusted when it is installed back.

This should be reverted if a performance chip is used, since the chip advance timing in various points by itself already and adding any extra manual advance will possibly result in dangerous detonations, also known as engine pinging or pre-ignition. This, could be very destructive for the engine at high speeds.

Once again bud, these cars do not have a distributor. The only means of changing timing is through flash tuning the PCM.
