Default Engine Computer Question

Ok, here is my question. I am well aware that GM started lojacking there ECM's in the 2007 model year of the diesel trucks and there was information stored in them such as regeneration count and the TCM stored info such as max calculated torque at the transmission as well as tracking the CVN#'s. Making it impossible for people to use flash tuners to increase power because even if you purchased a second ECM the regen count and other things would be out of spec.

My question is what tattle tales do the 2010 corvette computers have in them if any? Do they track the CVN's? Is there anything else they track that would look odd if you swapped the computers for dealer visits? Idealy I would like to take out my factory computer and replace it with a secondary. Simply and intake and exhaust car with a nice tune. Then I could put the factory computer back in for factory visits.

Not exaclty the most honest thing to do, but its not like im changing out hard parts, just bolt ons.

I have HP tuners and am capable of doing the work myself, just need to know if this is a safe option as I dont want to loose my warranty over 20-30hp.

yes, they have the same type of things, same as the camaro's do...

plus, there is other info stored in the ECM, one such item being mileage, and if that doesn't match up with the odometer or other modules, then bingo, they gotcha...

so, swapping ECM's is out of the question now too... so yeah, can't do that...

not to mention the fact that, you can't even get a new ecm for it... some camaro guys have tried, and they can't even get them... GM's not letting them out...

The E38 ECM is very much available, i can get them at $180 a pop. What exactly do they store? Last time I checked milage was only stored in the cluster.
