Default Reversion - Timing

Turned off knock sensors. How do you tune for reversion cam is a 243 / 259 at .050 on a 114. This is a 454. timing in low rpms all over the place we think it is the reversion may impacting the MAF readings since we have turned everything else off or made limits so high it is effectively off.

disable the MAF and run it in SD to eliminate the possiblity of reversion. why disable the knock sensors?

Pull a bunch of timing to force the engine to load up. You're not seeing timing reversion from screwing with the MAF... you're seeing timing spikes from torque management (the cause is yet unknown). Backing out a bunch of timing or running rich in the low rpm, low load areas has been seen to improve it big time.

At idle, spark should be jumpy due to adaptive idle spark.
