Last week I was driving in my '05 and suddenly the dashboard lights started lightning up, battery voltage started to increase, and they started appearing messages. I took a video to see if anyone can tell me what happened.
rough guess, possibly alternator. If the alternator full fielded its self and the voltage regulator stuck you could charge at 18-19 volts instead of 13-14. It is possible to cause damage to engine computers, and sensors with voltage that high. I see the guage is pegged on the right. I would get a voltmeter and connect to battery while running. If it is high start checking the voltage regulator(I think they are built in the alternator on GM's). Replace before other problems get worse.
erniepr – Since it’s been a few days since you’ve posted, I was just curious if you’ve made any progress regarding this condition that you described. Have you taken your Corvette to be checked out?

Laura,
I had´t move the car since the problem untill today that I arrived from out of town, the car is working at 100%. I'm thinking it's possibly something to do with the grounds or maybe as Medicdiver says, maybe the alternator regulator.
I´m going to take the car to be checked maybe on Friday.
Make sure you voltmeter stays around 14.2 Volts, it shouldnt fluctuate too much from there +-1volt, from the vid it was stuck at 19+ volts and as previously said, this will fry the computers
