I have a 2010 GS 6sp manual. Can someone tell me what's involved with a "tune" or "super tune" ?

Never heard of a "super tune." Maybe that's the one done by Superman?

There's no point in getting a tune for a stock 6sp. car. If you're not modding the car otherwise, why void the warranty?
