I know HP forum would be better to ask this question but they are super slow when and if they respond. I had a lm1 WB and had it programmed to read the same as the new mtxl innovate. My friend had the mtxl so I made them match so the config file in HP scanner could read both because I data log his car often on the same night that I race mine. We both run our WB thru the AC pressure switch to feed into my non pro cable. My problem is this: The config for my new afx requires a custom PID which I have set up and it works great. When I create one to work with his Mtxl and I save it as a new config(renamed and everything) it seems to always change the one that I made(and it worked) for my afx. Is it possible to not have to change the PID string every time I switch from my car to his? Often I jump right out of my car and put the laptop in his and I don't have enough time to rewrite the new function string. Any ideas?
I think his range is 7.35-22.4 afr and mine is 9-16 afr so the values have to be different in the PID

I will look tomorrow how I did mine. I have a pro cable, but I have two different WB's I use depending if my regular WB is hooked up to another car. I have to go in and change what WB I want to see, but I don't think I had to re-write the pid string. I will answer in the morning when I can look at my laptop.
Thanks
ok,
Mine is going to be different because it is a pro version and all my WB is in the EIO section.
If you look at your user configuration though you have 10 slots of custom pids, make two of these one for each WB. You will have to select which one you want to use, but you should not have to rewrite the string each time you want to use one or the other.
