Hello everyone,
Im thinking of adding a Halltech CAI and a Diablo Intune canned or custom tune. My car is a 2010 6sp GS convertible. My current mods are a heavy stainless steel shifter **** which lowers the shifter 1 1/2 inches (Southern Car Parts), a mild to wild old school exhaust controller, and a sprint booster (yea I know no more horsepower but much more responsive). Is a CAI and tune helpful? Will I feel a difference in performance? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
Thanks Mike! I've read lots of posts and pretty much everyone seems happy with the InTune. Will a CAI make decent power or does most of it come from the tune?
On a bone stock car the CAI wont add much power, but it sounds nice. Most of the gains from the cai will be in the upper rpm range, whereas the tune offers improvements everywhere.
I think I would just do the tune. Most of my driving is in the 2000-4000 rpm range. Thanks for the help! I'll soon be ordering the intune with a custom tune from diabLew. Boy those Halltech carbon fibers are beautiful however!
