Worth tuning a stock grand sport?
Does adding a tuner like the Diablo Trinity make enough difference on a all stock 2013 grand sport with an auto tranny and the dual mode exhaust to justify the money spent?
I understand this is subjective but if a majority says it really doesn't add much performance wise then I may hold off until I can do more.

the reduction of Torque management in our tunes does indeed provide for a car that feels much quicker
It also picks up about 15 rwhp over stock...

Better shifts, quicker throttle response, more power. I think a tad better fuel mileage if you keep your foot out of it. PLUS not having to find and deal with a 'turner' that if something needs changing or you want to try a differ8ent setting its at your finger tips. I'm happy with the results I got on my 2008 with A6 trans.

Our tools leave no Trace of having been there once the stock tune is restored, nor is there anything they can see even while the tune is still installed unless They read the file out and compared the calibration data to a stock tune.
Thanks

I have a 2011 stock GS with 6sp. Just tuned mine with a diablo sport and hell yea you can tell the difference. No way does it help mileage, because I have to get my foot in it with a rolling start just about every time I drive it. Even my girlfriend asked me what I did to the car. Well worth the money. Bought one for my 2013 avalanche as well.

Here is my before and after from this weekend. Only mod is an airaid intake which was installed for both pulls. Well worth it...

Tuner said autos dyno less initially but there is a bigger difference before and after.

It would be interesting to see before and after HP and Trq.#s for an Intune or Trinity tune. Some track times would be really good too. Not saying that the SOTP feeling isn't valid and all, but I'm thinking that some imperical data on the gains from these products would go a long way in helping potential customers to make a decision on whether the canned tunes are worth it.

I know you may have a legit reason for going canned but why not custom? No one near by? Mine was only $350 and I KNOW what the car was doing with regards to A/F, timing, etc. Just curious is all.

Local guy is priced higher. If I go custom, I would probably go with Diablew. It would be nice to see before/after results for the Diablo canned tunes to see what they bring to the table.

For now I'm going to put a Halltech MF103 CAI on it and after a while add headers etc. I can only imagine that with a good tranny tune alone, an A6 vette should drop at least 2-3 tenths in the 1/4. I know it made a big difference on my '08 Sierra Denali.
