Default Header install

Just installed headers and its not runinng propely. However im not dropping $600+ for a dyno/tune. I need to purchase/borrow a unlocked tuner to get the stubling low RPMs fixed . Any Ideas?

Is that all that is done to your vette? I installed my headers and had no driveability issues. I did eventually get a tune done, but not until months later.

Its more of a idle issue. Runs as of it has a cam. think its because the rear O2 are off. Im calling Chuck COw today. Maby run up to see him soon.

Come on up and we'll check it out for you....

Headers won't usually cause a "CAM" type idle, but I'd be afraid you've got a cracked

plug or bad wire after the install or maybe you changed the intake and something's not aligned right.

Either way, while it seems like child's play to install headers....most every set that comes here that was

installed elsewhere or at home has some major boo-boo that requires fixing BEFORE tuning.

When you plan to come up, we should both budget a few extra hours to be sure everything is right

BEFORE getting the tune dialed in.

No sweat. We'll get it right.

Call when you're ready.

Default is the "mil" on ?

sounds like a missfire. see if the spark plug wires are snapped onto the plugs & coils, then check your plugs, you may have cracked one.

and or 02 sensors switched banks if you have LG's.

The car should run fine after a header install, check engine light in time, not at it's peak performance, but it should run fine.
