Check Engine Light: Code U0073
Check engine light came on the other day and finally got chance to go to Autozone to have them read what code it was throwing. It turned out to be U0073. I did a quick search, but I'm not very mechanically inclined so it was a little over my head. I am registered for the Houston 1/2 mile event next weekend. I am not sure if I can get car to the shop before then. Can someone explain in layman's terms what the code means and will I be ok to run it in Houston before going to the shop? Or is it something that's needs to be addressed before then. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
