Default 2 DTC codes

Hi guys, I hate for this to be my first post but hey it is what it is. I've wanted a Corvette since I was 11 years old, now finally 44 years later I have my first one a 2005 base coupe. I've had it about 2 months and it has 36,500 miles on it. I absolutely love the car but here's my problem. Two weeks ago I came off the expressway and when I went to turn left at the end of the ramp the car felt like it was still in 4th gear (auto trans), real sluggish to take off. Thats when I looked at the dash and sure enough I had a check engine light lit. I have a SCT tuner that I had used with my 10 Camaro so I used that to pull the codes. I got P0601 Read only Memory (ROM) ECM,and P0700 Transmission control module (TCM) requested MIL illumination which may explain why the car felt like it did. Now after making the left the car acted fine for the rest of the trip home aprox 15 miles. After I got home I pulled those codes and cleared them with the SCT. The car was normal for the next 2 weeks now yesterday the CEL came back on with the same codes, this time the performance seemed unaffected. Does anybody here have any insight into this condition. I did find one thread from August of last year that somewhat pertained to this but not exactly. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds to me like your TCM may be having issues. You will need the list for these codes to see what can trigger them, but you need someone at dealer to print the sheet out for each code for you. Since these aren't very common it is unlikely you will get much from posting here.

Thanks OBSSSD, thats kind of what I figured when the search of the forum only showed 1 result. I'll get to the dealer and get the list. It was worth a shot, with so much info available on the forum.
