Picked up a 2006 with Kooks Headers and exhaust and stock mufflers. Engine light code OC 420, passenger side Cat, came on twice.
Dealer told me they were not able to correct it and suggested I go to a performance shop. Contacted Kooks and they gave me names of places in NC and some other southern states. No one I went to can work on it. Since the original owner gave the dealer the original parts they offered to put it back to original.

What did you find out on this issue? What shop in NC was suggested?

There is a few options that can solve your issues. One of our dealers will be able to "tune" your car. Cartek in NJ if you drove there, PCM of NC can do a mail order tune, or if you are passing through in September there are a few goo tuners around here.
Let me know what you would like and we can go further.

OK. I talked to Drew, who sent you the response. Basically you need to have the car checked out. You may need a tune with this setup. And since you purchased the car used with the headers installed, it may have been tuned before. You may have a bad cat on the X-pipe, if this is the case it would need to be replaced.
Drew recommended Cartek in NJ, you could also take it to Corvettes of West Chester. You mentioned in your original email that you did not have a problem traveling outside your area to get the car fixed.
I will be happy to help but first thing is to get someone that can inspect the car do some diagnostics.
