I recently traded my 370Z for a gently used 09 corvette, always wanted another vet. The first few times I drove it I thought wow, this is fun. Then I got the itch to have more fun and scanned the forum for more HP. No plans to ever race I just needed more from what I had so I bought a Diablo Intune. Loaded up the 93 octane with the firm shift and drove for awhile. Better. Needing more HP I bought some Borla's and a vararam and liked it. Still it seemed I was missing something. Scanning the forum again I kept coming up with Diablew as the HP guy. Bought a custom tune and went through that process and finally realized GM is really dumbing down or cars. Diablew really helped me with HP, was very patient with my non-computer operating azz, and helped me find the car I thought I had bought awhile back. Now all I can think about is headers, cams, super chargers, and stuff. I would recommend his services to anyone who just wants more out of what you have and after the tuning I realized there's a lot more in that car than what I was getting until the tune. Do you want more for less, call Diablew.
While waiting for inTune and headers to arrive, I studied inTune manual and have the question :
inTune saves the stock file before loading the custom/canned tune, is the stock file always saved in inTune? saved stock file will not be overwritten by subsequent tune files? do I need to save the stock file in my notebook?
When I installed my 3rd custom tune from Diablew I could see my stock tune was still available. You will always have access to this in the event you have to have your vehicle serviced and need to go back to stock. No traces. Then you get your car back and reload your latest custom tune.

The oem tune will be saved to the Intune. The Intune becomes "married" to that vehicle so oem tune will not be overwritten. To "unmarry" the Intune, the original tune must be restored back to the vehicle. Yes, I would save the stock tune even any custom tunes in your PC or notebook.

I thought once you tune a car, the dealership can see that the stock tune has been altered even if it was switched back to the original tune hence losing the warranty.
Everything I have read and heard from all the forum/DiableSport guys is the stock tune can be returned to the vehicle with no trace. That's why the Intune captures the stock tune and retains it unless you remove it. Need service to your car, reload the stock tune, get the service, then restore custom tune. The best part is when you connect your Intune to your computer all your tunes are in the "E" drive and can be retained. The Intune is a no-brainer to release more HP in your corvette. Can I copy right the RELEASE comment, it could be a good one.

I just got a new inTune and had problems doing the update. I called out to Diablew and Support@Diablo. Within minutes, Diablew, Mike@Diablo, and Garret@Diablo all responded. The update problem was solved. That's customer service!
You'd need to load the tunes to be able to send us the files from the tunes folder.

does the car have any other mods?
Could it have possibly been tuned in the past?
Maybe try loading the PCM tune, and when it asks if you want to load the TCM tune, click the red X and see if it feels ok like that.
I'd hate to see you sell it, obviously this is not normal behavior, and not something anyone else here has ever reported, but we'd be glad to sort it out.
