I'm using the external mic that came with the camera. Its amazing and it has endured all kinds of abuse: snow, heavy rain, rocks, exhaust heat. Below is a link to a replacement one I assume is the same as what comes in the box. Note: Drift cameras use a smaller jack so you'll need and step-up adapter if you want to run and headphone extension cord.
