P0700 code
I have a 2006 vette auto and had an engine light come on indicating P0700 transmission problem. The car seemed to be shifting normally The local Chevy dealer mechanic cleared the codes and said that there is a software update for the transmission that might resolve any problems with the trans. Has anyone done that? Did it make a difference? Do you recommend doing that? Apparently it takes about an hour. For now the light is off.
