Default Timing changes with increased compression?

So I am planning to increase compression on my LS3 from 10.7 to 11.2 through a thinner gasket (0.045") and slight mill of heads. My question is what should I expect to need to do as far as tune afterwards? From what I've read I think I would need to slightly reduce timing, does that sound correct? And if so would you expect it to be just a few degrees since its only a half point in compression? Anything else to watch out for?

You may or may not have to adjust timing. Depends on alot of factors, but increasing the efficiency of combustion may actually require reducing timing for max power. You really need to tune it on a dyno that can load the car up and find max torque to truly know.

You will also need to retune your fueling more than likely.
