P0606 Power Management Frailure after entering Competition Mode
Hey Gang,
I had my Tuner Using HP Tuners Software add a basic CAI and Torque Management tune to my 2009 C6...
Nothing crazy just a basic tune to a completely stock ls3 other then a CAI
One morning 3 days after tuning I decided to change the AHS into Competition Mode and at the next stoplight I took off in first gear and it lit the back tires up...nothing to crazy just a bit of loose end and then I got the Power Management Failure and limp mode showing up on my DIC
I ended up having to pull the fuse for my ECM to erase the Power Management and Limp Modes...This worked... but erased the custom tune and resorted back to stock fuel tables
Has anyone had this same issue? and if so what was the end result?
Thanks gang!!

Pulling the fuse does not erase a tune .....

The only thing that erases a tune is sending the actual CAN message requests to delete the ECM contents... pulling a fuse doesn't do anything.
I'm betting your tuner mucked with one of the throttle maps and shouldn't have.
