My tuner took timing out of the 1300 to 2100 range to help with this ...but i still have surging and its driving me nuts..

Assuming a good tune, what is the overlap on this cam?

In the mean time, get lower rear end gears and raise the idle.

Tune just needs work it sounds like. "Taking out timing" may not be what it needed.
