Default C6 A6 Trans and motor tune help.

Just bought my 2008 C6 A6 LS3 and need some assistance with this one. Just sold my C6Z06, so this automatic is new to me.(bad clutch knee)
I'm looking to make the paddle shifts crisper and a tune to get what's hiding in this stock 6.2.
All stock to date, just looking to clean it up a bit. Just a plug and play at this point. Something I can play with when driving ( the car, not the tune), but the wife can enjoy normal driving too.
Any constructive input is welcome, thanks.

I use the Diablo intune and I am happy with the canned tune and plenty of adjustments for the transmission also.It will give you the ability to get a custom tune later if you so desire.I am in the process of a Diablew tune but haven't had the chance to datalog yet.Used ones show up rather frequently in the For Sale forum so you can save a few dollars. You can install it in about 5 minutes and easily return it back to stock at any time.

I just bought the SCT flash tuner with lifetime custom tune feature for my 08 C6 A6 Vette. Steve at RDP store can hook you up if you go with that flash tuner.

I have same car. From what you have learned so far, what can be done to reduce the shift time on the A6?

Regarding the engine, from all I've read, a new cam will unlock a lot more horses as the intake and headers are already overkill for the stock motor.

I'm familiar with what works with add ons and have motor / racing experience. Just nothing in the computer stuff. I'm an old drag racer guy.

I'm just looking to get some kind of plug and play tune for engine and trans. Just dial in the stock power for now and get a sharper/quicker response from the trans, without damaging stuff.
If I decide to build more power, then I'll get serious with a cam, headers and some 3:42 rear gears.
I'm waiting to hear from someone with the Chuck Cow deal. As I've heard some good stuff on him.

Follow along and we'll see what replies I get. Anyone out there?

The chuck cow deal is a no go for me. Hear a lot of good things but also hear a lot of can’t get ahold of him customer support or contact is not so good. I opted out on him. But I am also interested in a canned tune for my stock A6

I know what you mean. I'm looking into things with Lew on a Diablo deal to see how that might work for me.

I bought a used Diablo I2 handheld. The 93 octane tune is a nice bump. When I get a real tune (headers/cam) I will I marry the diablo and sell it (probably for what I paid for it).
