Default 07 LS2 Dyno Numbers

I had my 2007 Z51 LT3 Convertible with 32,750 miles dyno tuned today. My base numbers were 344hp/341tq this is a completely stock ls2.

I added a Blackwing CAI, BB X Pipe and BB PRT exhaust. That dynoed at 365hp and 373tq on the first pull. This also had a check engine light with po171 and po174 which indicated lean left and right banks after the CAI and exhaust added.

On the final pull and tune the car made 382hp and 378tq. I have to say I was kind of impressed with the numbers with only a CAI and X Pipe.

I am looking forward to more mods and tuning to see what each one brings.

I just thought I would put up some numbers.

m6, I think the tune helped alot. I dont really noticed the power difference but it does drive 100% better.

I had a base sheet from the 1st owner. I added the mods then took it to my tuner. He ran it on the dyno without a tune and got the first number then tuned it and got the final numbers.

Your first mods shouls be kooks 1 34 headers, and a fast 102 intake manifold, and a retune. that should be close to a additional 35-50 HP jump

Yep! Best mods for the LS2. The air box is also pretty poor as well.

a stock ls2 is about 325 to 340 rwhp depending on conditions, temperature, dyno, etc.

Thank you for the reply , I would like to keep the car stock but with 400 H/P to the wheels ! But I don't want to have to rape the car to get there and blow the engine !

If you did a CAI, LTH, Xpipe and a good tune you will be close. This way nothing is done internally.

I am at 389 rwhp with a CAI, Billy Boat mufflers, BB xpipe and tune, with header it would most likely be at 400.

Its getting ready for long tube headers and FI. Should drive close to stock but have over 500- 550 at the wheels.

CAI - cold air intake
LTH - long tube headers
FI - forced induction (supercharger, turbo, can kind of include nitrous in here too)

Default C6 changes

Hello all,

I'm new here. Just purchased an 06 base coupe late in the fall. The "dream" car. Glad I found this thread as I'm in the process of collecting parts myself. Just purchased the BB exhaust and will buy the X pipe and CAI in the new year. Shop suggested a 10% underpulley and tune to add 50HP. I'm a little concerned about the pulley. Thoughts?

I wouldn't do the underdrive pully IMO you wont see much of a gain. I got good gains with the exhaust, CAI and tune. The tune will make the biggest difference. I will have a Billy Boat Xpipe and Blackwing CAI for sale shortly if your intrested. It will be after the 1st when I start my next mods.
