Looking for feedback and any information on @ecs tuning services I think the contact is @ECSDave or Doug? I’m not sure I’m a newbie in the forums sorry in advance! I’m looking for a email tune my buddy has HP tuners MV12 setup and I’ve already paid for the credits to get me registered. Does ECS tune for that setup?

My setup as follows
2012 3LT C6 Inferno Orange Grand Sport Automatic
@speedengineering long tube headers and off-road X pipe.
Muffler Delete
Stock CAI
93 octane

 

Waiting on my ecu from them now i sent 2 weeks ago. I thought it be quicker to receive.

 

I’ve found a buddy with HP tuners I’m going to have my AFR dialed in thru the wide band I’m not going to go email tune route anymore. I’m not sure how to close the thread.

 

Having HP Tuning software and knowing how to use it are very different. How many hundreds of hours of experience does your buddy have. There are other highly competent email tuners out there.

 

Doug and Ecs are good to go. They turned out two computers next day for me. Always answered the phone

There are a number of tuning opportunities in your auto transmission by someone who knows what they are doing.

 

Sorry, but we have discontinued our tuning services. Unfortunately big brother EPA is coming for tuners and $149 is not worth the potential trouble.

 

If you are the person who called in looking for your tune it just arrived this morning. it will go out today but I cannot control shipping.

 

Have you also discontinued all tuning including in house or just the mail order tunes?

 

If you have a stock CAI then just change the power enrichment table to whatever you want and thats it - done and done.

 

We are only doing emissions compliant tunes, or race cars.

 

shouldn't you look to optimize your timing tables once you "dial in" your AFR? are you looking to hit the factory AFR numbers or are you going to set a new Power Enrichment number then dial the MAF in to hit those calculations?

 

Looks like a 17 year old owns the car. More then likely just looking for the cheapest option rather then doing it correctly.
