I am a new c6 owner. It has a Billy Boat dual mode exhaust and I installed a cold air intake. My question is would a tuner make much of a difference and if so what is the best route to go?
manual transmission.

My Tuner is an LS guru of sorts . He gained me just shy of 50hp on a Mustang Dyno , with a similar setup as yours . Mine is an '06 . He said typically he gets 40hp with a tune on an LS engine .

A good dyno tune can get you a good 20 to 25 wheel hp.
You probably would not feel it but you would be able to see it in a dyno graph. But a good tune can also make the car feel better as there is more in a tune than just power optimization.
A handheld tuner like a Diablo is okay but best when you get a custom tune. DiablewTune (website is the same spelling) is one of the best remote tuners using a Diablo handheld.
