Default C0040-00 error

I have a problem that is confusing me my battery died so I charged it up and backed Bette out and washed it. I pulled it back and the next day I backed it out of garage and it says service active handling, service traction control, service anti lock brakes. Code shows a C0040-00 which is right wheel sensor. I grabbed a new hub and wheel sensor plugged it in and same error. Where to go from here, car is 2009 vette with 28k miles on it. Thanks

Did it run perfectly before the wash ???
If so chances are you got some water into some of the "wheel speed sensors"
These are located at each wheel just behind the brake rotors
This is a common issue to have fouled wheel speed sensors from either a car wash or driving in a bad rain downpour
If you replaced the indicated sensor then it may be simply a fouled pigtail Check all 4 pigtails Clean them with brake clean and make sure none of the wires are frayed and none of the weather pak connectors are bent and not making contact
If all else fails take it to a shop that has a TECH II device and they should be able to isolate the issue with the sensors the ABS /traction control/active handling All of these systems use the wheel speed sensors for input data to make them work properly
