DIC Options Unavailable
Hi Everyone,
My wife and I just bought an ‘07 Coupe 3LT from a used dealer.
It came with all the manuals and 2 working key fobs.
Fob 1 is recognized for personalization (no issues with it).
Fob 2 locks, unlocks and starts the vehicle but shows “Options Unavailable” when I try to personalize it to the metric system as it is currently in imperial units of measure (mph, psi, F, etc.). I would like to change it to metric because we live in Canada.
I’ve read the Owner’s Manual which explains the fob recognition programming must be performed at a dealer due to Canadian legislation to prevent theft.
Have any Canadian owners tried and have been successful using the method described in the Owner’s Manual Keyless Access System section on page 76?
Any guidance/experiences would be greatly appreciated.
