Default C6 throttle maps....E38

So early C6's have multiple throttle tables in the PCM....4 plus reduced power mode. However, there is no way to access them that I'm aware. I've studied the BCM wiring, and there is no pin out for a Button, like a truck (tow mode) etc might have.

I'm just curious if anyone has any experience triggering any ot these modes....other that reduced power mode (don't like that one).

photo attached...this is from my 07' "Map A-Normal" is the default, and works in all TC/AH modes etc.

Fairly certain that you get different throttle response in competitive driving mode and that it's actually somewhat subdued from standard mode.

Actual throttle control is done in a non-configurable (at least, not by HPT or EFI) module dedicated to throttle operation. This is one of the "slave segments", and it is writable but not readable. The lack of configurability by major tuning software suites essentially means that any relevant changes made to the E38 throttle controls will cause a system fault as the actual throttle position will be deviant from what the throttle control module expects, and you'll get reduced power mode pretty rapidly.

This is all from my experience with my 2013 base model.

Since e38s were used in many vehicles that do have different drive modes some of the stuff there is just unused. That being said you can log pedal map in the scanner and see. Got to be careful playing those tables. Small adjustments can cause REP.

my car is tuned as low as 13% at certain RPM, I've had no issues adjusting throttle tables, but I certainly haven't re-scaled the table axis (although that would be beneficial).

I have no steering sensor in my car, so Comp mode can't currently be engaged. I may try and get that working again and log the throttle position as suggested.

the other two tables in my stock tune (Winter...sport/tow) actually start off slower, then ramp up faster as the throttle is pressed more aggressively. I guess that could certainly be the "more subdued" throttle response you mention.
