Delayed Start Command
Any of the savvy tuners and diagnostic guys know what DTC’s might trigger a delay in start command after pushing the start button. Running a DTC erase will enable the start command to activate immediately when the start button is pushed. Following the first start (or two) the delayed start command re-emerges. Running a code erase (even though no codes and no CEL’s are displayed) will re-enable immediate start command when pushing the start button. This car is a high HP build with lots of tuning. Some MIL’s and CEL’s have been disabled in the engine diagnostics of my Dave Steck upgraded ECM. Car is a 2007 base model. “BCM coms” DTC is active but not setting any code. Just curious if anyone has discovered any codes that might trigger delayed start. Thanks
