Default completely dead battery

Don't know if this is the right part of the forum. A few days ago on my way home from work, my car suddenly started tossing out codes: service engine, service traction control, low battery charge, etc. A bit later when I exited the freeway I could smell radiator fluid. As I was only about a half mile from home I continued on and parked, opened the hood, and radiator fluid had pretty much sprayed over everything. I made arrangements to get it towed 2 days later, and when the two truck came, the car would not start. Even the start button wouldn't light up, and although he put his jumper cables on it, still nothing. The climate control display came on, but the radio did not light up. Anyways, I'm hoping that maybe it's just a hose (radiator was replaced about two years ago) and possibly a new battery (it was towards the end of it's 3 year warranty). However, I am also afraid there might be some electrical issues. I'm going to the garage today to check, but wondered if anyone had experienced anything like this and what the damage was. Thanks!!

Did you get your car fixed? What was the issue?

In the end it was a water pump that went out, so that was replaced along with radiator hoses. The dead battery was recharged, but I don't trust a battery that has gone dead, so I replaced that as well. I really don't know if it was just coincidence the battery went dead, although it was getting to the end of it's projected life and Vegas heat can eat batteries up. No codes after the battery was recharged and then replaced, and now the car is running fine. I'm not sure about the automatic transmissions in the 05 Vette, but it seemed to have the overdrive and then would go into a slightly more overdrive. Lately that second overdrive seems to not be engaging, but it still goes into the 4th gear fine. So all in all it's running well. Thanks for asking, sorry I didn't post a "how it got fixed" reply!
