Full throttle issues?
I have a 2009 c6 auto base 3lt has around 47k miles and recently I floored it the engine shot up like normal but the car just didnt speed up and the rpm’s just bounced around the 5-6k range I’ve never had it do this before. I heard nothing unusual no check engine lights or any other issues that I can see. Not sure if this was just a one off fluke or something to be concerned about any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks 👍.

Yes sounds like low trans fluid---
When it bounces off around 5-6 k is it sputtering like it is hitting the REV Limiter ?
Or does it simply stops revving up gently there ?
What RPM does it normally shift at ?
Does it do it at all the shift points ? 1-2-------2-3---------3-4-------4-5------5-6 ?

I would check for any codes if you have a scan tool…some TB issues if that is what it is do not illuminate the MIL…only issues that affect emissions !!
