RCDLR / TPMS Issue
Hey everyone, tapping into the resources of this forum to try and resolve a nuanced RCDLR / TPMS issue.
Popped up as an intermittent “XX” and “Service Tire Monitor” code for the passenger front wheel. TPMS would occasionally drop out while driving, but re-pair again after a couple ignition cycles. Replaced TPMS with OEM valve, but new monitor would not pair with RCDLR.
Moving down the potential fault chain, brought it to a local shop to install a remanufactured RCDLR and reprogram. However the shop is struggling to get everything working again as various monitors will now pop up but then drop off randomly. Seems like the issue has spread from just the passenger front to now multiple wheels.
I’m hoping they messed a step up with the pairing or the new RCDLR with the antennas or BCM. They are working with some “tech support” but I’m starting to lack confidence in the ability to resolve this issue because they have had the car for 2 weeks and the status updates are starting to get more vague.
Does anyone have insights into the proper procedure to flash a reman RCDLR to the car? Figured we can start there…
