Default OBD plug

im probably getting stupid: cannot get the (efilive) plug out of the socket.

its been there for years and i remember it having a kind of notch, so im pressing on it (blindly) as strongly as i can, but the plug does not move, not even a bit from side to side.

do i need to lift something with i screwdriver or whats the trick?

thanks

It's just a friction fit. The notch is for alignment only and not retaining. No tools should be required. Securely grab the car-side port while firmly pulling, and slightly wiggling the efilive plug.
