Muffler Repair Effect on Handling ?
Something truly bizarre happened this week. I brought car into dealer to have cracked muffler paint on stock mufflers fixed. When I got the car back, the rear suspension felt softer and the steering less precise (more understeer). They swear rear thresway bar was properly reconnected after repair. 
Any ideas ?

Not kidding. Have you never taken your car into a dealer for one thing---and have it come back with a totally different problem ? If that has never happened to you, you should consider yourself lucky.
