Changing Wheels Question

For those of you that have had your Factory C6 Wheels taken off your runflat tires .... did the tire changing machine cause any damage to the wheel edges or the wheel lip ?

You need to find someone with the right machine
Not all palces have the right machine to do this with no damage

Everyone says they have the right machine " we won't even touch the wheels " .... i ended up with 3 chipped Magnesuim wheels and the C6 wheel has the same kind of egde as those did. Are there special machines that are used for Run Flat tires ?

vYes,

There is a hunter machine that will do it. You MUST tell them you have run flats first. Make sure they have done them before. The damage happens when they take the wheels off not put them on.

Had mine done @ WCC. No apparent problems, but that's why I had them do it. They can suggest a good machine to look for.
